History will prove that your observations are correct and that the Felon-elect should have been stopped in 2024, but the voters were once again tricked into believing the MAGA fairy tale was real. 😑 It seems that the smart people have already moved away from Florida, since they all know that climate change is real and it’s only a matter of when a Category 5+ hurricane comes and demolishes the state. And they won’t even know it’s coming, now that Project 2025 plans to defund NOAA next year. But hey - at least the Felon will visit them and throw some paper towel rolls their way - right?

I have had a week* of avoidance of interaction, of social media, of human interactions in general, of moving forward on anything on the A list (beyond Meeko and I dark hiking every night, but that's really just the most effective coping mechanism to maintain baseline sanity and functionality ), and just generally being ineffective at much of anything. Except building twelve pairs of earrings [D list] with Netflix [usually somewhere around Q on the list] running on the computer I should be using for things on the A, B, and C list.
So I respect that you found a cogent thought and did the work to communicate it effectively, Joe. I also appreciate the gentle kick in the butt to not check out.

I feel the same way about this, the potential decline into fascism. How do you react to something like this? I don't know that there is any official "right" way.
